A family story, rooted in the countryside.
Where Flint & Teal Began
Flint & Teal takes it name from two very special gundogs belonging to my father.
Flint was his most successful dog at the time, but it was his character that made him unforgettable. He seemed to understand people in an almost human way. If you were upset, he was the dog you would take for a walk or simply sit with. He would stay beside you, cuddle into you and, somehow, always seem to know when you needed him.
Teal was an incredible spaniel, who had such a gentle soul. Spaniels are usually known for being quite crazy, but not Teal. Through his calmness he became my cheerleader at sports events. I would always look out for them both.
Together, Flint and Teal became part of so many family memories and our life in the countryside. Through them came days spent on shoots, a love for working dogs and a connection to the traditions of rural life that has never left us.
Today, we have a small family shoot of our own, and those memories and that way of life remain at the heart of Flint & Teal.

Flint & Teal is an extension of the life we know and love, shaped by the countryside, family traditions and an appreciation for things with character.
Our collections are chosen to bring a little of that feeling into the home, pieces that feel timeless, considered and ar home in both country and contemporary interiors.
For us, it isn’t about following trends. It’s about finding things we generally love, would have in our homes, and hope will be enjoyed for years to come.
